Seizure of electric bike

On Friday 25 September 2026, officers from the Neath Neighbourhood Policing Team were carrying out proactive patrols in the Briton Ferry area when they identified an individual acting suspiciously whilst riding an electric bike.

The rider attempted to make off from officers but was quickly apprehended. The electric bike was subsequently seized, and the rider has been reported for a number of traffic offences.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to proactively target and disrupt illegal activity that contributes to crime and anti-social behaviour within our communities. These issues have a significant impact on residents and the wider public.
